The EHOB Waffle Overlay With Pump is purposefully designed to relieve pressure on bony areas during extended periods of lying down. This air overlay wraps around the body to safeguard and cure pressure sores, making it ideal for pain management. The product’s patented design eliminates patient “bottoming out” and ensures that air envelops the patient’s body. Additionally, the overlay employs Static Air Technology to prevent and heal pressure ulcers, and Air Passage Vents for circulation, heat dissipation, and moisture dissipation.
The product is user-friendly and can be inflated with the non-electric M.A.D. Pump. The overlay’s low-profile design provides patient safety, and adjustable straps secure and center the overlay to the bed. The “dog-bone” hand wells enable easy log rolling, mobilization, and patient transfers, while corner straps keep the overlay securely centered on the bed. The overlay is easily portable, easy to clean, and highly comfortable.
It is crafted from top-quality antimicrobial TPU material with optimal immersion and envelopment properties, ensuring clinical efficacy and patient comfort. The ventilation holes facilitate the even distribution of pressure across the patient’s body surface area, providing effective ventilation and optimising the micro-climate. This reduces the risk of skin maceration by drawing body fluids away from the patient’s skin. The overlay also includes a clear valve for inflation and adjustments, as well as a red CPR valve for rapid deflation.
